Stanford Executive Board ‘23-’24

Ava Love

Ava is a senior from Dallas, Texas and serves as the President of SWI. A SymSys major with a concentration in Ethics, Ava is passionate about using the intersection of business and technology, specifically through AI, to improve education for underserved children. Through SWI, she has enjoyed learning the fundamentals of investing, refining her financial literacy, and being a part of a community of driven, intelligent women. Outside of SWI, Ava is a VP of Marketing for Stanford Women in Business.

Julia Brand

Julia is a senior from Purchase, New York studying Management Science & Engineering. As Vice-President and Co-Chief Investment Officer of SWI, she is very excited to help members put together their first stock pitches and to help them learn more about the financial services industry. Last summer, Julia interned at Cardumen Capital, a deep-tech venture capital firm in Tel Aviv, and the previous summer she interned at Hudson Hill Capital, a private equity firm in New York City that invests in growth-oriented companies with disruptive business models. This coming summer, she will be interning at Centerview Partners, and she plans to pursue a career in finance after college. Outside of SWI, Julia is the President of TAMID at Stanford, and she is a partner at the Kudla Fund.

Isabella Rolfe

Isabella Rolfe is serving her third year as the Chief Development and Design Officer for SWI. She is a senior from Connecticut and is majoring in Product Design and Symbolic Systems, and minoring in Data Science. She is a member of the Stanford Women's Varsity Squash team. On campus, she also works as a Product Intern at the d.school, and is involved in ASES as a member of the VC3 group, Stanford Women in Finance, and Stanford Women in Computer Science. She is also Girls Who Invest Scholar. Isabella has worked in product and tech the past few summers at eBay and Burberry. This summer she will be interning at Salesforce as an Associate Product Manager Intern. Isabella is passionate about technology and finance and hopes to build a career encompassing both sectors.

Alexa Tabibian

Alexa is a junior from San Francisco studying Public Policy, with a concentration in Advanced Policy Analysis. As a Co-Chief Recruitment Officer of SWI, she enjoys connecting women who are considering in careers in finance with industry professionals across a broad range of sectors. Alexa is interested in alternative forms of investing, particularly private equity, though which she hopes to uplift micro-cap and lower middle market business. Over the next few summers, Alexa will pursuing this passion at the Tuck School of Business and private equity firm Altamont Capital Partners. Outside of SWI, Alexa is an analyst at Stanford’s Blyth Fund, an Officer of Stanford Challah for Hunger, and a Project Leader for Johns Hopkins’ “Executive Dialogue Series”, through which she interviews CEOs of industry leading, large-cap companies.

Megan Liu

Megan is a junior from St. Louis studying economics and history. She is a Finance Officer for SWI and handles all things finance and budgeting. Outside of SWI, she is a big dancer on Alliance and Innovative Styles. And she also is an economic research assistant for SIEPR.

Morgan Cortina

Morgan Cortina is a junior from the Bay Area and is the Co-Chief Investment Officer for SWI. She is majoring in Science, Technology, & Society with a minor in English. She is interested in the intersection between finance and technology, particularly how technological advancement and growth affects the operations, structure, and financing decisions of technology companies. Outside of SWI, Morgan is the Events Director of she++ and is passionate about creating equitable STEM education opportunities.

Rena Chao

Rena Chao is junior serving as the Co-Chief Recruitment Officer

Avantika Shah

Avantika is a junior from Mumbai, India, and serves as Co-COO. With a major in art history and minor in psychology, she hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of art and business. This summer, she will be working in valuations at Sotheby’s, New York. Through SWI, she has discovered a passion for investment education, looking to empower the same in other women. She is also a student guide at the Cantor and Anderson museums, intern at Stanford’s Archaeology Collections, and is actively involved in the performing arts on campus. She loves food, travel, and the outdoors.
